Dr. Yasmeen Hashimie, DO, has joined BayCare Medical Group with offices at 3001 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Tampa and 4211 Van Dyke Road, Suite 200 in Lutz. She is accepting patients 18 years and older.

Dr. Hashimie’s clinical practice emphasizes patient and family-centered care. She believes in whole-person health care and is passionate about patient advocacy and providing her patients with clinical research trial options. Dr. Hashimie speaks Hindi.
Dr. Hashimie is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the American Medical Women’s Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association, and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton.
Dr. Hashimie continued her medical education by completing an internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center/Texas A&M College of Medicine in Temple, Texas.
