City To Host Plan Zephyrhills 2035 Meeting July 7

The city of Zephyrhills is actively working on a major update to the city's comprehensive plan, called Plan Zephyrhills 2035.

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — The city of Zephyrhills, Pasco County's largest municipality, is actively working on a major update to the city's comprehensive plan, called Plan Zephyrhills 2035.

A significant part of community planning is getting people from all parts of the community together to talk about community issues and needs, as well as ideas that could help Zephyrhills be a better place to live, work and play.

The next scheduled Plan Zephyrhills 2035 Community Conversations public meeting is Thursday, July 7, at 6 p.m. at the Zephyrhills Depot Museum, 39110 South Ave.

During this process, the city aims to collect thousands of ideas from residents, business owners, workers and other community stakeholders for use in creating a citywide vision for 2035. The citywide vision will be described in words and illustrations to paint a picture of the community's desired future. This picture will become the foundation for setting goals and policies for the new comprehensive plan, Plan Zephyrhills 2035.
