Holiday Market Supports Arts, Small Business

A variety of local vendors will offer their wares at the Dance Arts Center in Lutz on Saturday.

The weather is crisp, and the holidays are fast approaching. What better way to kick off the season than by supporting small businesses and the local arts?

The Dance Arts Center will host its first Holiday Marketplace Fundraiser from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 1924 Oak Grove Blvd. in Lutz.

The event will include a variety of direct sales vendors, including Scentsy, Cookie Lee, Thirty-One, Mary Kay, Princess House, Lady on the Green. Local crafters offering hairbows, tutus and more also will be selling their work, organizer Heather Guida said.

Refreshments, including baked goods, will be available. There also will be face painting and gift baskets, Guida said.

In addition, Free dance classes will be offered during the event, no special attire or reservations required. Check out this announcement for the class schedule.
