Lutz to Host Centennial Concert, Food Truck Rally

The event, celebrating Lutz' 100-year history, will take place March 23.

The community is invited to help Lutz celebrate its' 100-year history.

A Centennial Concert in the Park and Food Truck Rally will take place Saturday, March 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lutz Train Depot at the corner of Lutz-Lake Fern Road and U.S. 41 in Lutz.  

The free concert starts at 5 p.m. with the Steinbrenner High School Entourage taking the stage followed at 7 p.m. by the Gaither High School Showcase Chorus.

There will be a number of food trucks located on the grounds offering everything from Asian cuisine to wild game dishes.

The Lutz Civic Center will be open for the evening providing displays detailing the rich history of many of Lutz's organizations and clubs such as the Lutz Pioneers and the Bit and Bridle Club.

T-shirts and train whistles also will be on sale at the civic center.
