Pasco County Extension Celebrates Opening Of New Office: Video

DADE CITY, FL — The UF/IFAS Cooperative Extension Pasco County is celebrating the completion of its new headquarters in Dade City.
The 6,400-square-foot building was made possible thanks to a $1.1 million state grant, combined with $244,000 in funding from the Pasco Board of County Commissioners and $197,000 from the Pasco County Fair Association.
“We look forward to serving our community by providing educational services, consultations and workshops from our new office and meeting space,” said Pasco County Extension Director Whitney Elmore.

The Pasco County Cooperative Extension Service assists Pasco County residents by developing and delivering practical, educational programs in environmental horticulture; sustainable agriculture; 4-H and youth development; and family and consumer sciences.
