Update: Precautionary Boil Water Notice Rescinded For Area In Lutz

LUTZ, FL — Hillsborough County Water Resources has rescinded a precautionary boil water notice that affected some customers in the area of Lutz in northwest Hillsborough County.

The precautionary boil water notice that was issued on Friday, May 20, for Hillsborough County’s potable water system customers in the area of Lutz in northwest Hillsborough County is no longer in effect for any resident or commercial business.

Water service to the area was temporarily interrupted after a contractor damaged a 12-inch water main line.
