Looking For Work? Snowcat Ridge Snow Park Is Looking To Fill More Than 200 Positions

DADE CITY, FL — Florida’s first-ever snow park, Snowcat Ridge, is now hiring for more than 200 positions in preparation for the start of its 2021 season on Nov. 10.

Snowcat Ridge is taking applications for both full-time and part-time positions that include snow-tubing attendants, ski lift operators, snow play monitors, ice skating attendants, cooks, cashiers, shift supervisors and a variety of other positions.

Pay starts at $12 an hour and goes up to $20 an hour. Applicants must be 16 years or older.

Located next to TreeHoppers Aerial Adventure Park at at 27839 Saint Joe Road in Dade City, Snowcat Ridge is a one-of-a-kind snow park featuring a 400-foot-long snow tubing hill, 10,000-square-foot snow play dome, Alpine Village, and a music and light show each night.

New for 2021 is the Crystal Ribbon, an outdoor ice-skating ribbon and beginner oval, and the Eskimo Outpost featuring private party igloos available for rent.

Each general admission ticket includes all-day access to the Crystal Ribbon. Ice skates are not included, but may be rented separately or guests may bring their own. A general admission ticket is required for all guests 2 years old and older.

The Eskimo Outpost is the perfect place to host a birthday party, company event or family outing. Located adjacent to Snowy Slopes, it features eight private igloos available for up to 20 guests each.

Igloo rentals include:

• Private use of a festively decorated 500-square-foot igloo for 2.5 hours, for up to 20 guests, with indoor and outdoor seating.
• Private fire pit that is perfect for roasting s’mores (which are available for purchase separately).
• Unlimited bottled water for all guests at Refreshers: Beer, Wine & Drinks, located in the Eskimo Outpost.

Snowcat Ridge will be open from Nov. 10 to March 27.
