ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — The Pasco County Fire Rescue was called to Frontier Drive near Zephyrhills to rescue a horse who was spooked by another horse and jumped into a swimming pool and was unable to get out.

Firefighters kept the horse calm while they contacted Squad 1, the department's special operations team, to bring a hoisting harness and machinery to carefully lift the frightened horse from the pool.

The horse was uninjured after the traumatic experience.
