Tree Trimmer In Critical Condition After Getting Electrical Shock

LUTZ, FL — A tree trimmer was flown to the hospital in critical condition Thursday after receiving an electrical shock, according to Pasco Fire Rescue.

On Thursday at around 9:15 a.m., Pasco Fire Rescue responded to a call in the 21000 block of Northwood Drive in Lutz after a tree trimmer in a bucket truck hit a live power line with a chain saw.

When firefighters arrived, they found the bucket truck in flames. They doused the fire and had a helicopter fly the tree trimmer to the hospital.
