Wesley Chapel Man Dies Following 3-Vehicle Crash in Zephyrhills

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — A 50-year-old Wesley Chapel man has died following a crash Friday on Eiland Boulevard in Zephyrhills.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the Wesley Chapel man was heading east on Eiland Boulevard west of Fountain Road in a pickup truck at 1:33 p.m.

A 36-year-old Zephyrhills woman in a van and a 70-year-old Miami man in a sport utility vehicle were driving west on Eiland Boulevard. While negotiating a curve in the road, the Wesley Chapel man suffered a medical emergency and crossed the center line, colliding with the left front of both the van and SUV.

The Wesley Chapel was taken to the hospital where he died. The Miami man suffered serious injuries.
