1. An employee of the Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) is facing fraud and grand theft charges after officials said she stole thousands of dollars from people while filing their tax returns. The employee has worked for BSO since September 2006 and was suspended without pay. (NBC Miami)

2. A man accused by police of a shooting at a Dadeland Mall parking garage made an appearance in court to be formally charged on Tuesday. The suspect was charged with attempted second-degree murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. (WSVN)
3. Nine people were arrested Tuesday and accused of running $37 million South Florida-based health care fraud scheme. All face multiple charges of conspiracy to commit health care fraud and health care fraud. (WPLG Local 10)
4. A Florida Keys man faces charges after allegedly stealing six electric toothbrushes worth nearly $1,400 from a Walgreens, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. The incident happened at the Walgreens store on 53rd Street on Monday just before 11 a.m., according to officials. (Miami Patch)
5. Kaia Greek has opened on Coral Gables' Miracle Mile. It is the latest concept from SP Hospitality Group, the team also behind Crema Gourmet, Calle 23, and Copper 29. It is open from Monday to Thursday from 5 p.m., Fridays from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 11 p.m. (Eater Miami)
