FL Neighborhood Among Most Popular In Country, Realtor.com Says
A Florida neighborhood was among the most popular in the U.S., according to Realtor.com's top 10.
BOYNTON BEACH, FL — If you're searching for one of the most popular neighborhoods in the country, you just have to go to Boynton Beach, located less than 60 miles north of Miami. The Aberdeen neighborhood in the town landed at No. 5 on Realtor.com's list of the most popular neighborhoods in the United States.
Economists at Realtor.com identified the most popular neighborhoods by determining how many views each listing in those markets received in January compared to the typical U.S. home.
In the neighborhood of Aberdeen, the median home list price last month was just $341,250, which was significantly less than the national median, explaining its spike in popularity among prospective homebuyers.

"Many of the most popular neighborhoods are in the South, a region that boasts relatively high inventory levels and easing home price growth."
The Woodmont section of Milford, Connecticut, emerged as the No. 1 popular neighborhood in the county with the exclusive Beverly Crest section of Los Angeles ranking No. 2, where an average home goes for north of $5 million.
