- An investigation is underway by authorities after reports of vandalization at Miami City Cemetery located at 1800 NE 2nd Ave. The historic cemetary is Miami-Dade's oldest cemetary and has city pioneers buried at it. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities. (WPLG Local 10)
- A former downtown Miami nurse with the Federal Bureau of Prisons at the Federal Detention Center has pleaded guilty to supplying prison inmates with drugs and other illegal items. Sentencing will be held on May 16 and the nurse faces up to 15 years in prison. Police said the nurse received goods in exchange for the items, including access to a Lamborghini and Rolls-Royce. - Fort Lauderdale Police shot and killed a homicide suspect on Tuesday after a chase that left a pedestrian injured, according to police. Police said the suspect was "holding a black metal object resembling a firearm." The officers who shot and killed the suspect are now on leave pending an investigation by Florida law enforcement authorities. (WSVN)
- La Rumba Colombiana is a new two-day celebration coming to Miami's Wynwood neighborhood at Oasis Wynwood. Guests will include Colombian urban singer Andy Rivera and DJ Agudelo888. (The Miami Hurricane)
- A planned 54-story tower development called Downtown 6th has been approved by Miami's Urban Development Review Board. The project includes 824 residential units as well as commercial space and parking. (The Next Miami)

- Little Havana in Miami was packed with musicians this past weekend for the Calle Ocho Music Festival. 300,000 to 400,000 people are estimated to have attended the festival. (WPLG Local 10)
- A free mammogram service will be held in South Florida for women ages 40 to 60 with no insurance, no implants, and low of income on March 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m at Coconut Creek. Those interested must register at 305-856-8366. (Twitter)
- The FL Keys Aqueduct (FKAA) issued a Precautionary Boil Water Notice (PBWN) on Sunday to all residents and businesses impacted by a water outage. The precautionary notice will be in effect from the time water is restored, until Wednesday, March 15 at 5 p.m., unless otherwise advised by FKAA. (Twitter)
