1. A Boca Raton man is facing charges after posting threats of plans to commit a mass murder on the social media platform Twitch, according to multiple reports. The accused man claimed he did not mean the comments and was drunk when he said them. He is charged with making a written threat to conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism. (Miami Patch)

2. Residents in Miami's Little Havana are scrambling to find a new place to live after their landlord abruptly ended their leases, a common occurrence now in South Florida. They claim the owner said evictions were necessary because the owners are late on doing a required 40-year reinspection on the building, which is from the 1930s, but residents dispute the reasoning. 3. Police are offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of an armed suspect who robbed a United States Postal Service letter carrier in Coconut Grove. The incident happened Dec. 14 in the 3300 block of Oak Avenue, according to United States Postal Service. (NBC Miami)

4. The Pantry of Broward hosted a community event on Monday to help give out gifts from grandparents to grandchildren amid rising inflation. More than 300 seniors took home gifts to give to their grandchildren. (WSVN)

5. Florida airports are expecting a busy holiday season as 2022 comes to a close. Miami International Airport expects 2.5 million passengers to pass through from Dec. 21 through Jan. 6. Those numbers would be 1.5 percent higher than last year, which broke a record for holiday travel. (NBC Miami)
