  1. The annual Miami Kidney Walk was held on Sunday at Coral Reef Park in Palmetto Bay. Around 37 million Americans suffer from chronic kidney disease or CKD. The walk raised over $83,000. (WPLG Local 10)
  2. Luxury streetwear brand Kith has opened Sadelle's at Kith in the Design District with brunch spots available to 40 diners and bagels, salads and pancakes ready to go. The first Sadelle's came to South Florida's Coconut Grove in 2021. It is similar to Major Food Group's New York brunch concept. (Time Out Miami)
  3. Two Cuban migrants used a motorized hang glider to fly around 90 miles from Cuba to Key West on Saturday, according to officials. The two migrants were turned over to the U.S. Border Patrol custody by officials. No one was injured in the incident. (WSVN)
  4. A stampede at the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair on Saturday night left multiple people injured and caused a large presence of police in the area. Authorities confirmed that reports of a shooting were a false flag with "no threats to public safety." (NBC Miami)
  5. Global software company Kasey is in talks with Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava's administration for naming rights to Miami-Dade Arena, according to Miami Herald. The news comes after the recent meltdown of FTX and former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried left the county out of millions of dollars. (Subscription: Miami Herald)

  • PS (Private Suite) wants to bring a luxury experience to Miami travelers from Los Angeles at the former Pan American Regional Headquarters Building 874, accordig to a report by Miami Today. Suites would range from $3,450 to $4,6450. (Miami Today)
