The body a man was found near South Point Pier in Miami Beach on Sunday afternoon.
MIAMI BEACH, FL — The body a man was found near South Point Pier in Miami Beach on Sunday afternoon. The U.S. Coast Guard brought the man to shore. He was pronounced dead by first responders from the Miami Beach Fire Department.
Ernesto Rodriguez of the Miami Beach Police Department told Patch that the body was found around 3 p.m. Police did not immediately identify the victim.
"Detectives are currently on scene investigating the cause of death," said Rodriguez. "No further information is currently available."
