Macchialina Of Miami Beach Best Italian Restaurant In Florida

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Macchialina on Miami Beach has been selected as the best Italian restaurant in Florida by culinary website The Daily Meal. The 70-seat restaurant by Chef Michael Pirolo joins the ranks of Del Posto in New York City, Spiaggia in Chicago and Scampo in Boston.

The website recommends trying the housemade pasta dishes "especially on Thursdays," when the restaurant features them for $10.

"Other standouts include gnoccho fritto, veal cheek and pork meatballs, and a 21-day dry-aged New York strip," the editors penned.

The cozy dining room features antique brick walls, tufted leather banquettes and handcrafted wood tables.
