Miami Beach Police Investigate Bomb Threat On Ocean Drive
Miami Beach police investigated a bomb threat on Ocean Drive that caused traffic delays.

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Miami Beach police investigated a bomb threat on Thursday afternoon that caused traffic delays and triggered a voluntary evacuation of two buildings on iconic ocean drive. Police said that the 900 block of Ocean Drive and Ocean Court were closed to traffic for a time as a result of police activity in the area. Traffic was later reopened.
"We received a bomb threat," Miami Beach police said around 2 p.m. "K-9 units responding to the area."

Police said that no devices were found.
Hotel Breakwater at 940 Ocean Drive and Ocean's Ten at 960 Ocean Drive were voluntarily evacuated by order of building management, according to police. Pedestrian traffic was also restricted.
