Miami Beach Vet Searching For Missing Service Dog
Doc Nunez, a war veteran, is looking for his service dog, Bandit, who disappeared as he moved to a new apartment.

MIAMI BEACH, FL - Doc Nunez, a war veteran, is looking for his service dog, Bandit, who disappeared as he moved to a new apartment on Oct. 30. His old apartment was damaged during Hurricane Irma.
While moving furniture out last week, he left Bandit in the second-floor apartment. When he came back, Nunez said someone had been inside and his Jack Russell terrier was gone. He fears someone stole his pet.
"It's devastating," Nunez told Local 10 News. "It's like a family member is just, all of a sudden, missing."

Nunez served his country as a combat medic for more than 20 years and the recipient of multiple Purple Hearts. Nunez said Bandit helped him with his anxiety, giving him the confidence to walk the neighborhood and socialize. "Please take care of him, if you have him," Nunez said. "If you find him, please call. He's all I have."
Anyone with information about Bandit's whereabouts is asked to call the Miami Beach Police Department.
