Miami Shows Its Blue To Support Police
Miami area landmarks were bathed in blue lights in honor of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Miami Beach City Hall and other Miami area landmarks were bathed in blue lights on Tuesday night in honor of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. The day is intended to thank officers across the country for the daily sacrifices they make for their communities.
“I am proud to join the many communities across the country to show our appreciation for the courageous men and women who keep us safe each day,” said Miami Beach City Manager Jimmy L. Morales.
The city also encouraged residents and visitors to wear blue on Tuesday and thank law enforcement officers.

Other Miami landmarks that were bathed in blue on Tuesday included Freedom Tower Miami and New World Symphony.
