Unity Bike Ride Brings Police Together In Miami Beach
Miami Beach was among the safest places to be as dozens of police chiefs and officers from around Miami took to the streets via bicycle.

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Miami Beach was among the safest places to be on Wednesday as dozens of police chiefs and officers from around the greater Miami area took to the streets via bicycle. The 2018 Unity Ride began outside the iconic Joes's Stone Crab in South Beach and wound its way up to North Beach before ending up with a taste of area restaurants along Española Way. The annual event was hosted by the Miami Beach Police Department.
Ernesto Rodriguez of the Miami Beach Police Department said that participants made frequent stops along the route to engage local students, residents and visitors in the area.
Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber was on hand for the Unity Ride along with local Miami television personalities, including Sanela Sabovic of Local 10 News and Marybel Rodriguez of CBS 4.
