Video Interview with Champ Atomic Banshee to discuss Sukeban Japanese women's wrestling in Miami at Art Basel

My video interview (via translator) with Sukeban Champ Atomic Banshee, who will be defending her title against former champ Ichigo Sayaka during Art Basel Week in Miami.

Sukeban, the touring Japanese female pro wrestling league, comes to the Miami Beach Bandshell on December 3, 2025.

Featuring the best fighters straight from the streets of Tokyo, Sukeban blends pro wrestling with fashion, art, music, and anime to create a one-of-a-kind experience, fitting for events like Art Basel.

The five fight card on Miami Beach at 8 p.m. EST is highlighted by Sukeban World Champion Atomic Banshee of The Vandals defending her belt against Ichigo Sayaka of Harajuku Stars in the main event.

That matchup brings two of the league’s most popular performers face-to-face, and two of its biggest factions into direct opposition.

Sukeban’s approach to the sport frames pro wrestling as a narrative-driven universe built around character identity, rivalry and style.

Atomic Banshee, who begna her pro wrestling journey at a very young age, inspired a piece, art work by Rockin' Jelly Bean.

She and Ichigo Sayaka competed on the Miami show in 2023.
