Felipe's Taqueria will celebrate the holiday season with Fiesta Navideña – Latin Christmas Fiesta on Friday, Dec. 19, at its Logan Landings location, 2220 Logan Blvd. N., Suite 810. The festive event will feature live music, traditional Latin games and a special holiday menu showcasing traditional dishes from across Latin America.
To keep the celebration going, Felipe’s will also recognize National Sangria Day on Saturday, Dec. 20, offering $5 Sangria all day at both Felipe’s Logan Landings and Felipe’s Park Shore, 4255 Tamiami Trail N.
The Friday celebration at Logan Landings will kick into high gear with live music from the Black & White Band from 6 to 10 p.m., with speed rounds of Lotería during every music break. Guests are encouraged to participate in an ugly sweater contest with prizes.
For the occasion, Felipe's will debut a limited-edition menu featuring festive favorites including Tamales Mexicanos (green and red Mexican tamales), Sancocho Colombiano (Colombian beef stew), Buñuelos con Natilla (savory fried cheese fritters with sweet, creamy cornstarch custard), Empanadas Venezolanas (Venezuelan empanadas), fried ice cream, Chicharrón con Guacamole, Rumchata and Chocolate Abuelita.
