PORT RICHEY, FL — A 29-year-old Port Richey man is dead following a motorcycle crash on Ridge Road early Wednesday morning.  According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Patrick Garret Grattan was heading eastbound on Ridge Road around 2:15 a.m. Sept. 14 on a Honda motorcycle. As Grattan traveled just east of Airway Boulevard in the outside lane, he lost control of the bike and struck a curb.  Grattan's Honda went onto the sidewalk and then a grassy shoulder before striking a utility pole, the patrol wrote in a media release. Grattan was pronounced dead at the scene.  Troopers say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
