Possible Body Reported at New Port Richey Park
A New Port Richey park is closed until further notice after Pasco County deputies received a tip about a possible body.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a tip about a possible body at Robert K. Rees Memorial Park on Green Key Road in New Port Richey.
According to the agency, the investigation into the tip is ongoing. Deputies will be “working over the weekend methodically with our forensic anthropology partners at USF, including Dr. Erin Kimmerle,” the agency wrote in a Friday afternoon email to media.
As of Nov. 18, the agency had yet to confirm if there is a body located in the 4835 Green Key Road park, the agency noted. The sheriff’s office is serving as the lead agency in the search.

“The park is closed until further notice,” the email added.
No further information is being released at this time.
