Pasco Sheriff's Office Now A Missing Kids Readiness Program Member
The program promotes best practices for responding to calls of missing, abducted or sexually exploited children.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office announced it is the newest member of the Missing Kids Readiness Program, developed by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
This program promotes best practices when responding to calls of missing, abducted or sexually exploited children.
To meet the requirements of the program, the Pasco sheriff's office worked with NCMEC on its missing child policy to ensure it met the critical elements of NCMEC’s model policy for law enforcement agencies.

With this information, knowledge and operational resources gained through meeting the program criteria, the Pasco sheriff's office is positioned to respond more quickly, comprehensively and effectively when a child’s life may be at stake.
In addition to this certification, the sheriff's office is a certified Missing and Abducted Child Team.
