Scream Acres 2016: The Frights Return This Weekend
The annual Halloween event takes place at Starkey Wilderness Park.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Tampa Bay area residents looking for a pre-Halloween fright might want to head to New Port Richey’s Starkey Wilderness Park. Those brave enough to enter will find the park has been transformed into Scream Acres, an annual haunted house and trail event.
The two-night spooktacular promises “tormented souls will be wandering the trails and cabins, terrifying all that enter their domain.”
Scream Acres costs $1 per visitor to enter. It runs this year from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 21 and Oct. 22, 2016, at the 10500 Wilderness Park Blvd. park. The event is recommended for those ages 16 and up.
