Search On For Pasco Man Wanted in Tuesday Shooting
Breaking: Pasco County deputies are looking for a man in connection with a Tuesday afternoon shooting that left a woman injured.

HUDSON, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help locating a man its deputies say shot a woman in the arm Tuesday afternoon.
According to the agency, Michael Putnam, 43, got into a dispute with the woman. At some point during that dispute, Putnam is accused of pulling out a small caliber revolver and shooting the woman in the arm.
Deputies say the woman, whose identity has not yet been released, was able to get away.

Putnam was last seen in the area of State Road 52 and Altoona Avenue in the Hudson area. The sheriff’s office received the call about the shooting at 1:23 p.m. Oct. 18. The victim went to a Dollar General store and asked clerks to call 911, the agency said.
Putnam is now wanted on attempted homicide and felon in possession of a firearm charges. Anyone who sees him is asked to “use extreme caution as he is considered armed and dangerous,” an email from the sheriff’s office said.

Anyone with information about Putnam’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately. Tips may also be sent to Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay by calling 1-800-873-TIPS. Callers to Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.
