Watch Replay: President Obama Rallies for Hillary Clinton in Jacksonville, Florida
After a Thursday appearance in Miami, President Barack Obama is heading to Jacksonville to rally for Hillary Clinton.

JACKSONVILLE, FL — President Barack Obama is hoping to give Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton a boost in the polls with a heavy rally schedule in Florida planned. After speaking in Miami Thursday morning, Obama is set to appear at Jacksonville’s University of North Florida Arena in the afternoon.
Obama has made multiple appearances on behalf of his former secretary of state over the past few weeks. In addition to Thursday’s two stops in Florida, he’s expected to return for a rally in Kissimmee with Clinton on Sunday.
Clinton has been battling to maintain her lead in the polls nationally and in Florida ever since FBI Director James Comey sent a letter to Congressional leaders Oct. 28 about the discovery of new emails related to its investigation into her use of a private server. Comey’s letter has been the subject of heavy criticism since news of its existence hit. The bombshell was dropped just 11 days before the Nov. 8 presidential election.

Clinton’s campaign has also been on the defensive as WikiLeaks continues to dump emails allegedly written by or sent to Clinton campaign staffers. Among the revelations to come out of the WikiLeaks dumps is a $12 million donation from Morocco’s King Mohammed VI to the Clinton Foundation. The Clinton campaign has denounced the WikiLeaks email release, saying the hack represents an effort by the Russian government to influence the American election.
As controversy surrounds the Clinton campaign, the Democrat has watched her lead in the polls dwindle. On Friday, she led Republican challenger Donald Trump by 4.6 percentage points in national polls, according to RealClear Politics. By Wednesday, her lead had dropped to 1.7 percentage points. The number held steady on Thursday morning.

Clinton’s once apparent lead in the Sunshine State has also evaporated. As of Thursday, RealClear Politics said Trump was ahead in Florida by 0.7 percent.
Trump has also been bombarded with scandals over the past few weeks. His numbers in national polls dropped sharply following the three presidential debates and the release of a video that showed him making lewd comments about women. Although the video was about a decade old, the New York businessman has also been fending off allegations from women who say he touched them inappropriately.
Most recently, information surfaced that the FBI was looking at a possible financial connection between Trump and Russia. News broke Monday night, however, that no clear link has been found, according to the New York Times.
Obama is scheduled to appear in Jacksonville at 2 p.m. Nov. 3. Watch the live stream below when it begins:
