A baby entered this world in a bit of an unusual place.
Instead of a hospital, a mother gave birth in the early moring hours today (Oct. 31) on I-275 near the Bearss Avenue exit. A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was dispatched to the area at the request of Hillsborough County EMS to help with traffic control, according to a FHP news release.
FHP was dispatched at 3:58 a.m.

No other details were provided, but ABC Action News reported that the mother and child were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital and are doing well.
