Fire Tears Through Pebble Creek Home In New Tampa

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a house fire in the 18000 block of Edinborough Way in Pebble Creek at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Engine 21 was first on the scene and found the single-story home with smoke and flames shooting through the roof.

Firefighters had the blaze under control within an hour. A family was inside the home when the fire began, however, all residents were able to evacuate. There were no reported injuries to firefighters. One person was taken to Tampa General Hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
