Golf Tournament to Benefit School Tees Off Monday

Enjoy an extra day off for a good cause.

The For the Love of the Children Charity Golf Benefit will take place Monday, May 20 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Tampa Palms Golf & Country Club, 5811 Tampa Palms Blvd., Tampa.

The tournament will feature celebrity guest Quinton Aaron, who played Michael Oher in the Academy Award-winning film The Blind Side, and will include dinner, prizes and an awards ceremony.

The tournament will benefit the W.E. Phillips Learning Academy, an elementary charter school in Seffner, which provides educational opportunities to the children of migrant farm workers.
