Holiday Entertainment Ideas Near New Tampa

Christmas may be right around the corner, but there still are plenty of opportunities to take in some holiday entertainment.

Here's a look at a few options:

1.) Carrollwood Cultural Center Presents A Motown Christmas With The Sounds Of Soul (Dec. 21)

What: A Motown Christmas featuring the Sounds of Soul, When: Friday, Dec. 21 at 8 p.m. Advance Tickets: $18 /members; $21/non-members; $20/seniors (65+). Day of Show Tickets: $20/members; $23 /non-members; $22 /seniors (65+).

From the Cultural Center: "Back by popular demand, the Sounds of Soul will present an exciting high-energy show featuring superior vocals and dance moves powered by holiday classics from Motown." Sounds good, no?

2.) The Carrollwood Cultural Center To Host A Holiday Concert Featuring The Carrollwood Winds

What: Concert featuring traditional and nontraditional seasonal music. When: Sunday, Dec. 23 at 2 p.m. Advance Tickets: $8 /members; $12 /non-members. Day of Show Tickets: $10/members; $14 /non-members.

What's the Carrollwood Winds? It's a community band. Expect a wide range of seasonal tunes.

3.) Community Entertainment at The Shops at Wiregrass

 This popular outdoor mall has a host of daily activities, including ice skating, Symphony in Lights and pictures with Santa. There is also free entertainment. Here’s the schedule:
