Homicide Investigation Under Way in North Tampa

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating a homicide at an apartment complex, located at 1510 E. 140 St.

Detectives were called to the scene at 11:30 a.m. today, July 21. According to a roommate of the deceased, there was a party at the apartment last night where an argument took place between several people.

One of the five people who live at the apartment discovered the deceased in a locked bedroom late Saturday morning. The deceased, only described as a Hispanic male had upper body trauma. Authorities gave no further information.
