It Will Be a (Classic) Monster Mash at New Tampa's Library

Sure, sure, those Lady Gaga and Big Bird — the latter a Mitt Romney reference, obviously — outfits will be a hoot this Halloween.

But in the worlds of music and movies and holiday costumes, the classics never die. Never.

To honor Frankenstein, the Wolfman and others of that ilk, the New Tampa Regional Library is holding a Classic Monster Costume Party at 4 p.m. on Oct. 27. The event is free and geared toward both kids and adults.

"Come in costume and play fun monster games," reads the description.

Sounds fun, don't you think? Now where's my Dracula cape?
