Man Charged With Attempted Murder Following New Tampa Shooting

A Tampa man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting Tuesday morning ​in New Tampa.

TAMPA, FL -- A Tampa man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting Tuesday morning in New Tampa.

At about 8 a.m. on April 16, Peter Ballard Pinto Guedes, 28, called 911 to report he had shot a man inside a home in the 100000 block of Goldenbrook Way in New Tampa.

The shooting victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital with critical injuries.
