Mosquito Control Spraying Morris Bridge Area Tonight
More than 5,200 acres will be treated from Cross Creek Boulevard and Fowler Avenue to Hillsborough River State Park and I-75.

From Hillsborough County:
Hillsborough County Mosquito and Aquatic Weed Control will be treating two areas on Wednesday evening, Oct. 3, by air with the pesticide Anvil 10+10 ULV to control adult mosquitoes. The missions will spray more than 10,000 acres.
Here is the information for the nearby spray. The other area being treated is Alderman Ford Park.

Wednesday, Oct. 3, 7 p.m. - Midnight (Morris Bridge - 5,200 acres)
North Boundary: Cross Creek Boulevard

South Boundary: Fowler Avenue
West Boundary: Interstate 75
East Boundary: Hillsborough River State Park
The spraying will be done by a Jet Ranger III Helicopter at an altitude of 300 feet above the ground. If weather or mechanical failure prevents this treatment, it will be rescheduled for Thursday, Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. and finishing at 12:00 a.m.
