New Tampa Resident is Tampa Bay Lightning's Community Hero

The Tampa Bay Lightning honored New Tampa resident Allen Guy as their Community Hero April 2, and presented him with a check for $50,000 to help the organizations that Guy supports with his time and energy.

Alissa Holcomb, area director for New Tampa Young Life, a nonprofit that focuses on child development, nominated Guy and posted photos and information about the award in this New Tampa Patch Announcement: Lightning Community Hero is New Tampa resident Allen Guy.
