Reward Offered in New Tampa Jewelry Thefts
A string of burglaries has prompted Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay to offer $1,000.

Since November, the Tampa Police Department has investigated 10 residential burglaries in New Tampa in which thousands of dollars in jewelry has been taken.
Now, Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of those responsible.
In each case, the unknown burglar(s) entered the homes through a rear, sliding glass door and removed the jewelry, according to a TPD media release. In one case, two firearms were also taken.

Anyone with information regarding the identity and whereabouts of those responsible who wants to be eligible for a cash reward can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online at www.crimestopperstb.com, or text “CSTB” and the tip to C-R-I-M-E-S (274637).
