Summer Camps to be Showcased at Fair
Glazer Children's Museum is partnering with Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine and the Straz Center's Patel Conservatory to host the Summer Splash Fair, promoting camps and other summer activities in Tampa Bay.

Summer camps are coming to Tampa like a tidal wave, and the Glazer Children’s Museum is gearing up to help parents captain the ship.
The museum at 110 W. Gasparilla Plaza in downtown Tampa is hosting the sixth annual Summer Splash Fair April 6, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
It’s partnering with Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine and the Straz Center for the Performing Arts Patel Conservatory to make the event happen.

According to a Glazer Children’s Museum press release, Summer Splash allows parents to meet with providers of summer camps, health and wellness, college preparatory, and after school and tutoring programs. The goal is to ensure kids have a fun, safe and adventurous summer.
“For families looking for summer camps and other summer related activities, this is the one-stop-shop to see all of the options available,” said Angela Ardolino, founder and editorial director of Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine, in the release. “Choosing the perfect program for your family and kids is extremely important, and having face-to-face time with camp directors and staff is what sets Summer Splash apart from all others.”

Summer Splash will include live entertainment, free activities, music and giveaways every half-hour, including free weeks of camp and a special rock performance by students of Patel Conservatory’s Rock School. The first 150 kids will also receive a goody bag filled with summer essentials.
Admission is $5 per person and includes all day play in the Museum. Museum members will be admitted for free.
