- "Heeeyyy sexy lady!" Psy, the Korean rapper, is all the rage right now thanks to his viral video "Gangnam Style." Scads of fans crowded the mall on Fowler Avenue in early December to get a glimpse of the performer with the billowy paints.
Arrest Made in New Tampa Homicide
- An 18-year-old New Tampa resident named Grant Woodham was killed during the summer, rattling the Pebble Creek neighborhood. A 25-year-old man, also from New Tampa, was arrested in connection with the death.

- You got to be in it to win it, right? Dreamers swarmed the site to see if they were suddenly millionaires in late November. The pot? Half a billion bucks!
Orange Theory Fitness Challenges Members in New Way
- Although this story was written in 2011, it received lots of looks this year for some reason. It was the highest-viewed business story of 2012. The fitness center, near Starbucks, is responsible for those orange-colored bikes that got locals talking.
Aja Wiregrass Closes Down
- What a bummer this was for those who enjoyed the occasional night out! The restaurant and club in Wesley Chapel certainly had some loyal followers.
