USF, UCF Rivalry Game Moved to Thanksgiving

The game kicks off ESPN's Rivalry Week.

Tampa Bay area college football fans eager to see if the University of South Florida Bulls can break Orlando’s winning streak in the annual rivalry game will get to tune in a little earlier to see how it all plays out.

USF announced the game, originally scheduled for Friday, Nov. 27, has been moved to Thanksgiving Thursday, Nov. 26, with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff time. The game will serve as the kickoff for ESPN’s Rivalry Week.

“We are excited to have the USF at UCF game on Thanksgiving evening to kick off Rivalry Week,” American Athletic Conference commissioner Mike Aresco was quoted in a media release as saying. “It is fitting that this outstanding rivalry game will be played in prime time on Thanksgiving and available to a national ESPN television audience.”
The game will be played at Orlando’s Bright House Networks Stadium.
