Voice Your Opinion About Fletcher Ave. Improvements

Hillsborough plans to make pedestrian and bicycle improvements along Fletcher Avenue. Let county officials know what you think of the project at a public meeting Tuesday.

Hillsborough County is having a public meeting Tuesday (Sept. 20) at 6 p.m. to discuss proposed pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements along Fletcher Avenue from Nebraska Avenue to 50th Street.

The meeting will take place at the  at 14013 N. 22nd St.

A safety study of the corridor was completed in June, and the county wants your input on the proposed designs, which include:

  • a new sidewalk from Bruce B. Downs Boulevard to 50th Street
  • pedestrian refuge islands
  • mid-block pedestrian crossings
  • bicycle lanes
  • roadway re-surfacing

County staff will be at the meeting to discuss the details of the project and answer any questions you have.
