Wharton Students Busted For Trying to Sell Marijuana-Laced Baked Goods
The students are both 17 years old.

The name Wharton "High" took on a new meaning Wednesday after a pair of seniors were busted for attempting to sell cookies and brownies with a special ingredient: pot.
The two 17-year-olds — whose names Patch is withholding because they are juveniles — were arrested for possession and delivery of marijuana on school grounds, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
A School Resource Deputy was alerted to the situation via an anonymous tip.

“The deputy learned that the students were attempting to sell items that were laced with marijuana,” according to a sheriff’s office news release.
One student was busted with two individually wrapped brownies while the other was nabbed with five individually wrapped cookies, authorities said. Both tested positive for the illegal herb.
