See the new free ridesharing service helping residents across North Miami Beach (cbsnews.com) — North Miami Beach residents now have access to RideKel, a free app-based ridesharing service that connects riders to local destinations and major transit hubs like Golden Glades. The city-backed program, funded by Miami-Dade’s transportation trust, already serves hundreds of trips, easing commutes for students and workers and planning to expand its all-electric fleet in North Miami Beach and beyond. 
• Pair arrested in multiple thefts at North Miami Beach Target store: Police (nbcmiami.com) — Police say two people have been arrested in connection with a series of thefts at the Target store on Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami Beach, involving more than $1,000 in merchandise. The suspects, from Miami Gardens and Miramar, were granted pre-trial release but ordered to stay away from the North Miami Beach store.
