- Universal Orlando has shared details on the upcoming Minion Land on Illumination Avenue. Guests can enjoy Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast, Illumination Theatre, and themed-food at Minion Cafe. There will also be plenty of photo opportunities. (WFLA)
- Orlando's Plaza Live venue is closing temporarily for renovations starting June 1. Renovations are being funded in part by the Orange County Tourist Development Tax. The venue made headlines earlier this year when it was put under investigation by Florida for lewd drag shows without evidence. (Orlando Weekly)
- The Orlando Magic nabbed two first round NBA draft picks this year. A watch party was held with fans of the Magic basketball team on Tuesday in downtown Orlando. The NBA Draft will be held on June 22. (Fox 35)
- A digital traffic sign in Orlando was altered to display a threatening message to the LGBTQ on Wednesday. Police are investigating who tampered with the digital sign near Lake Nona Boulevard and Nemours Parkway. Anyone with information into the incident is asked to contact Orlando Police at 321-235-5300. - AdventHealth opened AdventHealth ER at Flamingo Crossings Town Center on Wednesday. The emergency room will serve Central Florida and Walt Disney World resort guests. It is located at 3323 Hartzog Road in Winter Garden. (WFTV)

- Many Central Florida businesses have refused to talk about how the new immigration law signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis will impact their businesses. The law requires businesses with 25 employees or more to use the E-Verify system to verify their employees' immigration status.
