1. AdventHealth Central Florida will transition to "green" status today, a return to mostly normal operations as the number of patients hospitalized from COVID-19 falls from a peak of 1,700 on August 23rd. (WESH)

2. Coronavirus-related deaths in children more than doubled in the past six weeks in Florida. Although most kids have comorbidities, hospitals are increasingly seeing children who are healthy hospitalized as well. Research shows some kids are also susceptible to "long COVID", which is when symptoms continue after initial recovery for an unspecified amount of time. (WFTV)

3. A new show based on the popular film "Finding Nemo" will debut at Disney's Animal Kingdom next year in 2022 and development is underway. It is a reimagining of its "Finding Nemo — The Musical" show. (Spectrum News 13)

4. Orlando Science Center will offer $10 admission for one day only on September 19th to allow families to enjoy the space at a discount. It is recommending guests buy tickets in advance at the website. (Orlando Weekly)

5. Volusia County Public Schools changed its policy to include a form for parents to have their children opt-out from wearing a mask in class in addition to a medical opt-out. The decision comes after Governor DeSantis threatened to withhold funding from school districts who mandate masks without an opt-out. (Click Orlando)
