1. Get ready to slurp delicious noodles at Ramen Rumble on September 28th. Tickets are expected to sell out but are still available. Participating restaurants include Morimoto Asia, Seito Sushi, Susuru, Ichicoro Ramen, Ramen Takagi, and Yugiri Ramen Project. (Orlando Weekly)
2. AdventHealth in Central Florida has moved to "yellow" status as hospitalizations from COVID-19 decline. There are about 1,200 hospitalized with COVID-19 across AdventHealth facilities, down from 1,700. (Click Orlando)
3 . Lake County school board members voted to implement a face mask mandate at select schools on Thursday. If a school has a positivity rate of 5% or higher, masks will be required until the cases are under control. (WFTV)
4. The owners of Light On The Sugar have announced a second location coming this fall at 501 Orlando Ave. in Winter Park. The new shop is expected to open by Thanksgiving and will offer a variety of Asian baked goods and pastries. (Bungalower)
5. A group of Florida first responders is set to bike across the United States to New York City in honor of the heroes from 9/11. They will stop along the way to visit families of those who died in the line of duty. The trip will take 22 days and marks the 20th year since the attack. (Spectrum News 13)
