1. DeLand police are searching for a man who held up a Florida Credit Union with a hammer while wearing a Sonic the Hedgehog mask. Police were called on Wednesday, just before 4:30 p.m. to 1735 N. Woodland Blvd. The man was also wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and was carrying a black or gray bag. (Click Orlando)

2. A Deltona Middle School math teacher in Volusia County has been arrested amid an investigation into his conduct with a teenage student. 29-year-old Carlos Aguirre Rendon of Longwood was arrested on Wednesday after it was reported he kissed a student on the lips in his classroom. 3. A shelter-in-place order was issued Friday at West Shore Junior/Senior High School in Brevard County after a reported bomb threat. Officials said all students and staff are accounted for and safe. The second threat to a Brevard County school on Friday. (WFTV)

4. Walt Disney World has started updating its road signs with different colors for the first time since the 90s. The iconic purple and red signs will be replaced with blue, white and yellow signs. The color change comes as Disney World celebrates its 50th anniversary. (Spectrum News 13)

5. City of Winter Park and the Multifaith Education Project are hosting the 19th Annual Trees for Peace Interfaith Tree Planting Project on Tuesday, February 8th at 11:30 a.m. at Phelps Park at 1206 N. Phelps Ave. Participants will include students from The Geneva School, Jewish Academy of Orlando, and Leaders Preparatory School. (Bungalower)
