Brooks Rehabilitation Hosts Winter Garden Open House Today

The nonprofit's event will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and include a tour, complimentary joint screenings, free food and drinks, and more.

Brooks Rehabilitation, a Jacksonville-based nonprofit organization that has been a comprehensive source for physical rehabilitation services for more than 50 years, is continuing to grow its presence and community commitment to the Orlando area.

Brooks is committed to providing patients with personalized care from specialty-trained clinicians. The low patient-to-therapist ratio, advanced technology, and evidence-based approach is meant to lead to better outcomes for patients.

The nonprofit's newest location is located in Winter Garden and is its 7th location in Florida. It is located at 15508 West Colonial Drive, Suite 100, Winter Garden, FL, 34787. It is inside the Tucker Oaks Village plaza. At least 5 more locations are expected to open in 2022. The Winter Garden location officially opened its doors over three weeks ago.

Services at the Winter Garden location include physical therapy, geriatric rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, skilled manual therapy, sports therapy, balance and gait training, Kinesio taping and post-operative rehabilitation.

The Open House for the Winter Garden location is today, March 10th, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Attendees will meet the clinicians, as well as receive a tour of the new facility, enjoy complimentary joint screenings, free hot and iced specialty coffees by Piccolo Coffee, free sweet treats by Crumble Cookies and a free Brooks swag bag.

Other locations include MetroWest (opened in February 2022), Sand Lake and Waterford Lakes (in Orlando), Osceola and Poinciana (in Kissimmee), Oviedo and soon Clermont. Brooks is committed to the communities it serves through "philanthropic service and community outreach programs."

Brooks has served as a comprehensive source for physical rehabilitation services for over 50 years. Brooks also has one of the region’s largest home healthcare agencies, more than 40 outpatient therapy clinics, a Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation in partnership with Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, the Brooks Rehabilitation Medical Group, two skilled nursing facilities, assisted living and memory care. The nonprofit treats more than 60,000 patients a year.
